A Pot of Gold...

Summary: A pot of gold (or Enva Hoxha's hidden treasure) could be found along this hike, though it is not very likely! But for the avid hiker, this trail is almost as much. We have been to Rosaveres on different paths, and different seasons, and every time it makes for a very beautiful outing. While the trail takes the "regular" route to Rosaveres, the return trip across the Skuterre Mountain is a little longer. More importantly, the shortcut from the road near the radiotowers above Krrabe back to the trailhead requires good orientation, and we suggest to keep as close to the coordinates as possible.

General location and approach: The trailhead is in Krrabe Skuterre (or upper Krrabe - as far as one can get with a car). The loop hike crosses another Rosavere circuit - see separate webpage - making for four routes to and from Rosaveres to choose from.

View towards Krrabe. Starting from Skuterre (where the red and blue lines meet), various routes are possible.
